Our People

Prior to VIRTUS’ creation and expansion, our founders and many of the staff held long-term senior positions working together at what was then one of the largest institutional trust companies on Guernsey.

Thus VIRTUS has a proven team approach. Because trusteeship is VIRTUS’ core business, the Directors recognise that clients need trust officers who will get to know and understand them, their families and their business interests over the long term. This is essential to a successful fiduciary relationship and needs to be one of the core criteria in trustee selection, hence the very careful recruitment of staff with the long-term in mind.

The founders of VIRTUS combine a variety of complementary disciplines and all deal with clients directly on a day to day basis. In addition we have a number of external directorships which keep us informed of current issues facing commercial and fund businesses.

VIRTUS also enjoys the services of a prestigious Advisory Board who bring their experience as leading practitioners in a number of non-financial asset classes.
